Is CapCut down right now?
The table on this page is the answer: we request CapCut's website, web editor, template gallery, help center and two of its servers, at most every 5 minutes, and show what came back.
Why does CapCut work for my friend but not for me?
CapCut routes people to different servers by region, and US accounts sign in through US servers. An outage can hit one region only, and our check runs from one location. Also check your own connection, VPN and app version.
Does CapCut have an official status page?
No. There is no status.capcut.com, and CapCut's help center does not link to one. Outages are usually acknowledged, if at all, on CapCut's social accounts.
CapCut is up but my export fails. What can I do?
Restart the app, free up storage, update to the latest version and export at a lower resolution to test. If the project uses cloud assets, check that you are signed in and that your plan's cloud space is not full.
How can I keep working while CapCut is down?
Projects saved on your device usually still open in the mobile or desktop app while the servers are down; cloud features, templates and AI tools will not. For a deadline, another editor or an AI video tool can cover the gap.
