Pro went from 550 to 1,200 AI credits a month in 2026. Subscription credits last one subscription month and are used first; purchased credits last two years. "All Pro members, regardless of their subscribed Pro plans, get the same subscription credits every subscription month." After cancelling, subscription credits work until the end of the billing cycle, then expire and do not roll over. CapCut says AI video is "billed by second" but publishes no per-second rate.

Costs that are easy to miss
- The 7-day Pro trial needs a payment method and charges you automatically when it ends unless you cancel first.
- Subscriptions auto-renew. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal, on the platform where you subscribed. Deleting the app does not cancel.
- Subscription credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and when the plan ends. Purchased credits last two years.
- Prices vary by region, device and promotion. CapCut's help has articles on why the price differs between accounts.
- CapCut's help says subscriptions are virtual goods and generally not refunded. The global terms allow a refund within 14 days only if you have not used premium features; App Store and Google Play purchases are refunded by Apple or Google.
- When a subscription ends, cloud storage is suspended. Back up drafts before the plan expires.
